2004-08-30 - 9:11 p.m.

I went to the doctor's today and peed in a cup. My doctor, herself pregnant, informed me that my results were negative. After reading off my pregnant like symptoms, she agreed that it sounded like i was pregnant and suggested I take a blood test, the results of which will be ready tomorrow. She said that if that test comes out negative, I can wait 5 days and take a home pregnancy test.

AM met me afterwards to talk about it. He ran through all of the steps he'd have to go through in order to support a kid, the first of which would be to quit his job in order to earn more money for child support.

I could see myself being shunned by everybody, including my family and closest friends. AM's wife would take it very badly. I have it worse than Hester Pryn. At least she thought her husband was dead.
