We were eating breakfast at a popular diner spot when AM proposed that after I am done with school in 2 years, we take a 6 month trip together, someplace in the mountains or by the ocean outside of the country. He said he would tell his employer and wife that he was taking a leave of absence. "And if u don't think u can handle 6 months, we can start with 3". The idea is very tantalizing. Another great adventure...."I love that proposal. I'm in", I replied, wondering how I would feel about him in 2 years. He would be 40, me 30.

I helped JN work on a project today and listened as he told me of his new relationship with a 24 year old woman he met at a rave. He said he was not interested in getting involved emotionally with a girl right now. "then what are u interested in?", I asked. "Physically", he replied softly. She calls him every day and they went out to the movies once. I wonder about her self esteem to go out with an 18 year old boy. This woman is asian and so is his recent ex. In his own way, he was telling me he is into me too.
