AM took me to a poor working class Mexican neighbohood for lunch today. We sat in a plastic booth and ate cow tongue, chicken and pork taco's. They were quite tasty. On our way back to work, he pulled the van over and requested a kiss. He said that when he was near me, it was difficult to hold back his desires.

I reviewed JN's portfolio today, to give him some constructive feedback about his work. We spent a good hour talking and afterwards we went to a cooking class as part of the mentoring program. Before he left, he told me that the other boys were jealous that I had picked him to be my mentee because they all had crushes on me. I was amused. By the end of the evening I made a few requests:

1. to write e-mails to me at least once a week, much like a journal entry, of his thoughts, questions, etc.

2. discuss more about his rave/skater period and his anxiety issues

3. bring personal pictures from his albums of him and his friends.

4. meet up in the morning for coffee and chats more often.

5. make baba ganouj from a recipe I give him, since he enjoys cooking.

This boy will be keeping me busy.
