2004-07-18 - 2:08 p.m.

AM spent the last 3 nights in my apartment. I can't say that I got a good night's sleep on any of those days, for either he or I would wake up every couple hours. I am not accustomed to having company.

His wife left Thursday afternoon and he came over around midnight. Friday he got the car and we picked up a movie, Turkish food and wine. We watched about 20 minutes of the movie. Saturday I worked the Millennium Park Grand Opening, spending all 6 hours on my feet. Feeling worn down, I sat at the bar and had a drink with a co-worker. AM picked me up around 530pm. He joked that it was a good thing I was already drunk because then he could take advantage of me. We ate in Greektown and drove back to my house. We watched a good 45 minutes of the same movie. This morning as he was driving me to Millennium Park for my final shift, he said that he had a really good time. I have to say that it did go quite well.

I worried a bit that we'd get tired of each other or he'd snore too much and drive me nuts. But, all in all, every time we woke up, we'd reach for each other and kiss. Quite a marvelous thing.
