I went to AM's house on Sunday for their weekly waffle breakfast. It was such a mild day that we ate in their backyard. The 2 adopted boys prepared the batter and AM's wife cooked it on the grill. The baby was strapped in his high chair, drooling on my rubber wrist watch. Being with his family brought a sense of community that I rarely participate in.
