I bumped into DP, who must be 16 by now. He seemed genuinely happy to talk to me, reminding me that we still needed to go for pizza. I thought about the Koala Yummies that had been sitting in my fridge for months in expectations of that day, knowing he liked them from a story I read of his. The day had never come so one hungry afternoon, I ate them.

My sister is in town and her lack of being able to make any kind of decision is extremely frustrating. She is like a child in many respects and people always mistake her for my younger sister. She'll be 30 in May and yet I feel the need to protect her. She's smarter than she's letting herself be and it pains me to know that.

Ex-raver boy has not given up. I may see him Friday night at the club....
