My small Oscar Party went quite well. It had been 3 years since I had more than 2 guests over at my house. I vaccumed everything and got on my hands and knees, scrubbing away at the 3 year old grime on the floor. The area behind the toilet was particularily disgusting. 2 hours later, my hands were dried out and prune-like from the harsh chemicals. I was physically tired and when I was nearly completed, I grumpily began yelling at the dirty water bucket for being so dirty.

The effort was well worth it. Not only had my house never looked so good, LOTR took home all 11 oscars, my guests were happy, the food was tasty...and LOTR took home all 11 oscars.
