2004-02-17 - 11:04 p.m. air mail Yesterday it started, the pangs of fear and doubt. Tomorrow I will air mail my grad school application to Scotland. Now that the only thing left to do is wait, I will be rotting inside until I receive some response letter. I picture myself failing, opening a thin letter with shaky fingers. I picture my grief at being rejected, filled with bruised pride and in a great depression, throwing myself off the Sears Tower... The battle of nerves begins....
