MH said he liked my painting, which I knew to be truth and not just friendly support. My boss said it was her favorite out of all of my work that she's seen.

I also noticed that the curator of the show has placed my painting right in the middle of the main gallery space, which could passively be saying something about his opinions. And the fact that the word is spreading that I am no longer going to do my current job this coming summer is causing a lot of buzz in the office.

I feel a dull pain at knowing what I'm leaving behind, and MH looks at me sadly and says he doesn't want me to leave. Mixed with that pain is a bubbling excitement and fear of my grandeous plans. What is really to become of me?
