2004-01-19 - 1:35 p.m.

With delight, I stared at my painting for a good 5 minutes and finally decided it was complete. I had quite the scare as it was being commuted from my home to the gallery space. The painting was too large to fit in my parents' truck and so they strapped it to the top. I fearfully envisioned my painting arriving all cracked from the cold, or worse, broken into pieces from careless packing.

I pray that it's good enough to get me into college. I wonder how it will be received at the opening receoption....

The other day my sheet music arrived in the mail and I decided to create a drawing for a group piece, to be exhibited in April. Life is good.
